At members’ request we welcome back the acclaimed singer and trumpeter, Georgina Jackson. Success with her first album led Georgina to become the singer with Ronnie Scott’s Big Band. A vivacious, stylish vocalist, she has fronted several BBC broadcasts paying tribute to Peggy Lee with the BBC Big Band and Irving Berlin with the BBC Concert Orchestra. Georgina’s partner Pete Long is one of the foremost bandleaders and reedsmen in the UK and is leader of the Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra.
