To celebrate our 4th Anniversary at The Chichester Hotel, we welcome “This extraordinary singer and his fabulous band” A fantastic new show celebrating the genius of some of the greatest songwriters and performers of all time: George Gershwin, Fred Astaire, Bing Crosby, Rodgers and Hart, Ella Fitzgerald, Cole Porter, Rosemary Clooney, Irving Berlin, Frank Sinatra, Hoagy Carmichael, Louis Armstrong, Johnny Mercer  and many others

‘Musical Haute Cuisine of The Finest Quality’ – In Tune International.

Tony Jacobs is one of the country’s most entertaining performers with an exceptional repertoire of swing and popular music from the 1920s – 1950s. He returns to one of his favourite theatres with a brand new, exciting show which celebrates the music and performers of the era with fascinating (sometimes hilarious) anecdotes of the day and includes highlights from his successful shows – The Sinatra Years, The Gershwin Years and Let’s Face the Music.

Music and songs include Alexander’s Ragtime Band, From This Moment On, Sisters, A Foggy Day, Chattanooga Choo-Choo, Georgia On My Mind, Tiger Rag, An Apple For The Teacher, Ugly Duckling, You’re Just In Love, Smile, There’s No Business Like Show Business, Someone To Watch Over Me, Sweet Georgia Brown, Lady Be Good and many, many others.

Tony is accompanied by regulars Jim Barry (piano) and Sue Greenway (saxophone). Special guest is the lovely Louise Cookman – a wonderful singer who is described as having ‘a voice to die for!’ Also in the line-up are three fantastic musicians – Paul Morgan on double-bass, Len Walker on guitar and drumming sensation Steve Rushton!

A wonderful heady cocktail of songs and music – a must-see show for all music-lovers – young and old.  Admission is £15 on the door – strictly by prior reservation only
