Jo Harrop pays tribute to Peggy Lee, (May 26, 1920 – January 21, 2002) who was one of the great figures of jazz and American popular song, with a career spanning six decades and one of the greatest exponents  of Torch Song – those unforgettable laments for unrequited or lost loves. Creamy voiced Jo Harrop delivers moving renditions of Peggy Lee classics as well as swinging out on other great songs from the canon. Songs featured in the show include Peggy Lee’s ‘Fever’,  ‘The Folks  Who Live On The Hill’, ‘Why Don’t You Do Right’,  ‘It’s A Good Day’, ‘I Love Being Here With You’ and ‘He’s a Tramp’ (the  last song featuring in the Disney film The Lady And The Tramp)   Jo Harrop guested on the album ‘Call Me Lucky’ by Alex Webb &   The Copasetics, delivering what jazzman.com called ‘a smoothly sumptuous vocal’ on the Webb original ‘End of The Affair’.  The album received four-star reviews in the Guardian and Evening Standard.
