Highly recommended to our Club by our Pianorama star Dave Browning, we welcome for the first time Tad Newton’s Jazz Friends who are established as one of the most popular groups on the UK and international jazz entertainment scene. The Jazz Friends specialise in lively always swinging jazz, featuring the sounds of Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington and Count Basie with their happy, lively music.

Whilst concentrating on the jazz sounds of the 20’s, 30’s, 40’s and 50’s, the Jazz Friends do not resign themselves to re-runs of ‘golden oldies’ and combine their traditional repertoire with more contemporary blues material.

‘These guys really swing.. a great band’ – Greg Abate  (USA jazz star)

‘Congratulations on a tremendous gig…it was a pleasure to be there! – Richard Eaton  (Sunday Times journalist at the Spice of Life, London)
