'Salute to Benny Goodman' - The Pete Long Quartet

On Wednesday 17th November we have Pete Long’s fabulous ‘Salute to Benny Goodman’ show. Leader of the Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra Pete Long’s plays the clarinet and gives us an insight into Benny’s life.
On piano is Colin Good, who has toured with the Ink Spots and was the pianist in the Brian Ferry Orchestra whose music featured on the soundtrack to the 2013 Hollywood blockbuster ‘The Great Gatsby’.
From the BBC Big Band on vibes is Anthony Kerr and completing the quartet is Richard Pite, the amazing drummer and stick juggler. For many years he has specialised in 1920s music & the drum techniques and visual tricks of the era’s jazz drummers.
