  If you like the great saxophonists Scott Hamilton, Zoot Sims and Stan Getz, or clarinettists such as Artie Shaw and Benny Goodman, then you will love Mark’s playing.  Mark regularly plays with the John Wilson and Back To Basie Orchestras, and was the feature clarinettist with an otherwise all-American band at the Lincoln Centre in New York.  Mark was also played the part of Artie Shaw in a gala tribute concert in Dublin in featuring The Solid Senders Orchestra. The sold-out concert featured Mark performing classic Shaw repertoire including Stardust, Begin The Beguine and Nightmare. Mark’s also performed with artists ranging from Tony Bennett to Sir Simon Rattle, Lady Gaga to Dame Cleo Laine and has worked in a wide range of musical settings including classical work and shows, but is most at home in the jazz world playing in London’s top jazz venues and at jazz festivals up and down the country.  Mark is joined tonight with his handpicked best UK jazz musicians for an evening of melodically music featuring his clarinet and tenor with the brilliant guitar playing of Colin Oxley as on his highly-rated CDs “I Won’t Dance” and “How My Heart Sings”.
